Logitech's new Microsoft Teams Rooms Explained: Rally Bar 2, Rally System 2 Pro, Rally Speaker 2 Pro

Vivek Sekar, Senior Director of Product Management at Logitech, gives a lightning overview of the latest Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware announcements.

• Rally Bar 2: now available with a one-inch camera sensor, 115° field of view, Right Sound 3 audio and an ADA-compliant wall-mounted profile. A redesigned wall mount simplifies installation, while Logitech Link connects additional microphones and cameras using standard category cabling.

• Rally System 2 Pro: a modular large-room solution with Rally AI Camera Pro, Rally Mic Pod 2 microphones, Rally Speaker 2 and RoomMate 2 Pro compute, connected using Logitech Link and category cabling. Availability is planned for summer 2027.

• Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max: speakers with Sound Shape technology, designed to deliver consistent audio to listeners up to 14 metres and 20 metres away, respectively. Rally Speaker 2 Max is designed to support multiple audio zones; dual-language functionality is being explored with Microsoft Teams, rather than confirmed as a shipping feature.

• Divisible-room support: planned cross-link connectivity between up to three RoomMate 2 Pro units, allowing AV peripherals to be reassigned as rooms are combined or divided.

• Tap IP 2 and Tap Scheduler 2: now available with built-in presence sensing. Tap IP 2 can wake meeting-room displays, while Tap Scheduler 2 can turn its own display off when no one is nearby to reduce power consumption.
